Ditta was born in Jamaica and is a graduate of The Mico Teachers' College in Kingston. While her award-winning stories offer delightful morsels of Caribbern life, the themes they explore are international. Love, jealousy, revenge, forgiveness, resilience, self-sacrifice, compassion, loyalty and friendship are among the issues examined. Besides "The Wrong Girl", Ditta is the author of "Shameful Shadows" (ebook) and "Puss Food and other Jamaican Stories."(paperback)

She lives in Jacksonville, Florida.
