Devotion is worship or an observance done regularly by many Christians. It can be easily understood to be a time set aside to devote oneself to prayer, or private worship of God, some Christians also call this time Bible study, quiet time, daily watch, sacred time or an appointment with God. In short, it is a way of spending time with God. Personal devotions help us grow in spiritual maturity. Devotions also remind us of our priority to put God first in our lives and in all that we do.
